Making IT Happen

In your child’s Thursday folder that was sent home September 6,  you will find a flyer announcing the PTA’s annual Making IT Happen fundraiser which begins Friday, September 7th and will end on Friday, September 28th. This fundraiser allows you to make a one-time donation in lieu of school wide fundraising projects.

To keep HES an Interactive Technology Leader in CMS, the PTA plans to purchase additional Samsung Interactive 65″ monitors for our classrooms. In addition, this project will also help to fund school programs and services that CMS does not include in its budget.

Therefore, the HES PTA is asking each family to provide $75 per student, with a goal of $30,000 which can easily be accomplished with your help. 100% of your donation will benefit the school and it is also tax deductible.

Any donation received by September 14th will be entered TWICE to possibly win one of seven top prizes: An overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge, an oceanfront getaway to North Myrtle Beach, SC, arcade passes at Spare Time, movie passes at Our Town Cinemas, Carowinds passes, a free 60 minute family portrait session, and a kids night out event at Flour Power Cooking Studio. Every student that participates will receive a homework pass and the class, per grade, that contributes the most will win a pizza party!

In addition, each student that makes a donation by Friday, September 14th will earn a Buddy the Bulldog bracelet!
