2016-2017 PTA REFLECTIONS PROGRAM
THEME: “What Is Your Story?”
The National PTA Reflections Program is a contest through the school, county, state and national levels. Students think about the theme and pick from one of six categories to express themselves artistically to create a piece of art that shows what the theme means to them. If can be simple or elaborate, but must be entirely child-inspired and child-made.
Students can enter a submission in any of the following seven art categories:
Visual Arts Dance Choreography
Photography Film Production
Literature Music Competition
Special Artist Division
All art entries must be accompanied by a Student Entry Form.
Please refer to the HES Website under the “Programs and News tab” for additional information.
It is very important to read and follow the General Rules and the Category Rules carefully for each submission. Additional information regarding specific rules per category can be found at the NC PTA website. Entries submitted by video must be in .MOV or .MP4 (Mecklenburg County does not accept .MPG or .MPEG).
Flash drives are preferred over CDs/DVDs – all entries will be returned to students.
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
All entries are DUE and accepted ONLY ON Wednesday, November 9th by 2:45 pm in the Reflections entry box located at the HES Welcome Desk.
